Converts selected files into base64 encoded objects. Read the documentation to learn more.

$scope.myfile:

{filename: "mypicture.jpg", filesize: 215432, filetype: "image/jpeg", base64: "/9j/4AAQSkZJRgABAgAAAQA ...."}

Features:

  • Supports multi-select file input.
  • Validates maximum/mininum file size, maximum/minimum number if selected files. And other angular and native validators like accept and requried.
  • Supports event handlers for file reader.

Installation

  • Bower - bower install angular-base64-upload
  • NPM - npm install angular-base64-upload

Tested on Angular versions v1.2.0 through v1.3.15.
